Porosity Lens: Brief
I believe Porosity to be the idea that no structure is entirely inaccessible or interminable, physically speaking at least. Most of the barriers in our society appear mostly to be a psychological phenomenon.
For any architecture to function it must allow itself to be inundated by the humanity with all the many complexities and complications of their lives and businesses and preoccupations else it will only be a pile of materials. In the video I have impressed a structure in the water, the interior floods immediately and within this a character attempts to find his way out.
Though the structure is open enough to allow the water through the structure hinders and even impedes the character's escape by its winding halls and passages as well as through other means. Though these do not present an absolute barrier the character acknowledgeds them as such and dose not strive to overcome them.
